Judy Greer, who plays Mrs. Desjardin in Kimberley Peirce's remake of the Stephen King novel, told E! Online that the 15-year-old moved her to tears on set.
"Chloe's performance - and this is literal - has brought me to tears on set,"
"She's made me cry because I find her performance to be incredibly moving," she explained. "I'm feeling a lot of compassion for her."
The 37-year-old added that she finds the film's iconic prom scene - in which Carrie is covered in pig's blood - to be "beautiful".
"Weirdly, it's kind of beautiful," Greer said. "It's really totally jarring and creepy but also in a strange way gorgeous."
Carrie drops in theaters on March 15th 2013.
